Phillip Brown

Phillip Brown is the Vice President of the Angela Elaine Nowell Foundation and 4th Quarter Strategies for Life.  He has a genuine love for Jesus Christ and people.  From a youngster, he has been taught to help others in any way possible.  To this day, he finds joy in helping others.

As a kindergartener, he would get chairs for lady visitors who entered his classroom.  Throughout grade school, he would take the lead as student council representative, band section leader,  Christian youth leader in the Mid-West, participant in church plays, contatas, and public speaking events.  As a collegiate, he was voted into various leadership positions and was instrumental in organizing the first black organizations on campus.  Afterwards, he served as a commissioned officer in the US Army Reserves.   While working as an Assistant Vice President, managing daily branch operations for a major bank, he also served as a Staff Representative for a discipleship campus ministry in Atlanta, Georgia.

Currently, he is a retired banker, and educator of emotional behavior disorder and autistic children. His greatest joys are to worship God in spirit and in truth, and serve as a Ruling Elder in the Presbyterian Church of America.  He believes he has had the best this life has to offer.  His life Bible verse is James 1:22 because he believes in being a doer of the Word.
