Dr. Kelvin D. White is on the Medical and Research Development Team for the Angela Elaine Nowell Foundation. He was born as the eldest child in a military family in Pensacola. FL. He attended Morehouse College on a full tuition scholarship and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Dr. White furthered his education at Morehouse School of Medicine and received his MD (Doctor of Medicine) in 1987.
After completing his residency, Dr. White opened his first solo practice in Eastman, GA. He proposed and fulfilled its budget, handled the taxes, payroll and accounting for this practice as well as another solo venue for over 12 years in Fayetteville, GA. In addition to his solo practices, Dr. White served as Center Medical Director for Concentra Urgent Care, the largest Occupational Healthcare practice in the United States. As Director, he was responsible for achieving and managing a one million plus dollar budget for two of the most productive Southeastern Region’s offices. Dr. White is currently with Southside Medical Center and former department Chairman of Family Practice where he is responsible for the oversite of the company’s largest department and budget. He has been asked to serve on several boards over the years.
Last but not least Dr. White and his Wife have a large blended family and have raised 7 sons and 5 daughters. They are also proud grandparents of a very bright 9-year-old grandson. They love the outdoors and wildlife; very involved in their local church in areas of teaching and music as well as international missions in Liberia and Haiti.
